This 10 day itinerary can be taken as an English Study Tour on request (includes 15 hours of English study) Day | Activity | | 1 | - Airport transfer - Brisbane City Tour After checking into your accommodation and a short welcome sessi on your tou r guide will take you on a walking tour of the beautiful city of Brisbane. With great shopping, art galleries, parks, cafes, restaurants and even a beach, Brisbane has something for everyone!
- Medical Examination Before learning to scuba dive, you must pass an Australian standard medical examination. We arrange for this during your first day. (see notes section for more details) - Dinner at mountain top restaurant Relax at beautiful Mt Coot-tha as the sun sets and the city lights up. A perfect end to your first day! Inclusions: Transfers from airport, accommodation, transport, morning tea/lunch, guided tour, water, snacks, dinner, limited drinks | | 2 | - Adventure ActivitiesNext to a stunning backdrop of the Brisbane River, you can try abseiling, kayaking, rock climbing, roller blading…a great way to get the adrenalin pumping! - Transfer to Cairns 
After checking into the accommodation, we will visit the Dive Shop to s ort out paperwork. You then have free time to explore the night markets and the many fantastic seafood restaurants along the waterfront. Now the real adventure begins as you learn to scuba dive on theincredible Great Barrier Reef! This 5 day course combines learning to dive (PADI Open Water certificate) with staying out on the reef for 3 days and 2 nights on a premium live-aboard boat. Your course includes 9 dives on some of the best dive sites in the Outer Great Barrier Reef as well as plenty of time to snorkel, relax and really enjoy the reef experience. Your 5 Day PADI Learn to Dive Course is broken down into two parts - 2 Days of classroom and pool training, and then a 3 Day 2 night, 9 dive, liveaboard dive trip to some of the best Outer Reef dive sites. You can learn to dive in Japanese or German, or in English if you are Intermediate level or higher. Inclusions: Transport (includes return flights to Cairns), PADI Open Water certification course, all equipment, all dives, accommodation, all meals on board boat | | 8 | - Relax in CairnsMost people feel a little tired after all that diving! This day and evening are free for you to explore Cairns some more. You can wander along the esplanade, visit the art galleries, explore the shops or simply relax. Travel on the beautiful Kuranda Scenic Railway to see stunning waterfalls, rivers, gorges and mountain ranges Explore local arts and crafts markets and look for the pub that sells crocodile pizzas and kangaroo pies! - Transfer to Brisbane Inclusions: Transport, accommodation, guided trip, return flights to Brisbane, water and snacks | | 10 | - Koala Sanctuary Trip & River Cruise  Enjoy a beautiful river cruise learning about the history of Brisbane. The cruise finishes at the famous koala sanctuary where you can cuddle a koala, feed kangaroos or hold a snake! - Farewell DinnerEnjoy Aussie hospitality with an evening out at one of the lively pubs in Brisbane Inclusions: Accommodation, River cruise, admission to koala sanctuary, dinner, limited drinks | | 11 | - Airport Transfer | | Notes | You will need to fill in the PADI medical statement form and also undergo a compulsory medical assessment to Australian Standards AS 4005-1. We can organise this compulsory dive medical for you at an additional cost payable directly to the doctor. Australian Standards are different to those in other countries and a medical obtained in another country will most likely NOT be valid in Australia. Important Note: Some medical conditions will prevent you from diving. Some of the more common conditions are Asthma, Diabetes, Epilepsy and heart or lung conditions. Diving is not advisable if pregnant. Some other medical conditions may also be a problem. If you are unsure about any specific condition please contact us before booking. If you do not pass the medical examination, this trip will be changed to a snorkelling trip, and some alternative activities arranged for the 'lesson' days in Cairns. Unfortunately no refunds can be given. We will arrange the medical examination for you – however, you must pay for it yourself 2. Other requirements: In order to participate in this option, you must speak fluent Japanese or German or have a good level of English. You must also be able to swim 200 metres and float for 10 minutes. You must also have passed the Dive Medical on Day 1 (otherwise diving activities will be substituted for snorkelling) 3. Unless otherwise specified, souvenirs, meals and drinks are not included in this package and must be purchased at your own cost. 4. You can attend lessons either in Japanese, German or English.
